Its warjacks called "myrmidons" are mobile, but fragile, and require a lot of backup to be effective. Its warcasters tend to be utility-based rather than individual powerhouses, and exist largely as sources of buffs for their infantry.

On the other other hand, Retribution infantry are generally solid enough to make this work, and if they can't, then you still have the option of an assassination run - which the Retribution can do with incredible reliability from a frankly disgusting range.

As such, they are one of the simplest armies in all of Warmahordes, and an excellent choice for new players - though they aren't entirely without their own little tricks, and can be just as rewarding for experienced warlocks.
